Data Science Team at Stanford Health Care

The Division of Computational Medicine develops and applies computational methods to improve human health via real-world healthcare solutions. This mission is exemplified by the Data Science team at Stanford Health Care, led by Dr. Nigam Shah. As the health system’s leading data science group, the team advances the use of artificial intelligence in patient care and hospital administration, safely, ethically and cost-effectively. This partnership between the Division of Computational Medicine and our health system demonstrates how computational innovation can be embedded within healthcare systems to improve patient care.
