About Us

The Division of Computational Medicine at Stanford University brings together interdisciplinary faculty, researchers, clinicians, and data scientists to advance computational medicine and improve human health. As part of the Stanford School of Medicine, the Division develops innovative approaches in artificial intelligence, machine learning, biomedical informatics, biostatistics, and data science to address complex challenges in biomedical research and healthcare.

Through collaboration across Stanford University, Stanford Health Care, and external partners, the Division translates computational discoveries into real-world solutions that accelerate biomedical discovery, advance precision medicine, enhance clinical decision-making, and improve outcomes for patients and populations. By integrating research, education, and clinical innovation, the Division is helping shape the future of medicine through data-driven solutions.
